Sionnach baineann
Work in progress - I’m currently working on a project creating large scale mixed media drawings from charcoal I have made from prunings of native trees, chalk dug from my childhood garden and other collected and found materials. My theme is one of stalking the wild feminine through Irish folklore and mythology. The pieces combine imagery that comes from liminal states - either unbidden between sleep and waking states, or invited through trancework, Havening and meditation, with observational work.
